Yet another pod filter question
« on: September 19, 2005, 03:23:38 PM »
alright i have searched.

My paper filter (cheapo one) is shit now. Its dirty as all fuck although ive cleaned it with the compressor shitloads

My question is, should i buy a K&N pod? or is there something better i can buy for the same price? i know about the apexi ones but they are too expensive for a stockish rb30 IMO.
Ive heard mixed reports of the pods fouling the AFM but is it true that this only happens when they are oiled too much?

Is it worth buying one? becasue i cant be fucked buying another cheap one that only lasts afew months

i dont have an airbox anymore and i have the VL pipe so i dont want those curves again, also i prefer pods anyway.

If there are decent non-oiled pods for the same price, thats what i want to find out

I just really want peoples experiences with K&N pods because i know alot of ppl have them

I read that mate, but they arent too expensive for what they are.

Bloody good filter.

You should pay too much more for an apexi pod anywayz

what ever you do dont over oil it just a light spray from 30 cm is enough.

if a genuin nissan panel filter is oiled and doesnt stuff up your AFM then you will be alright
