Topic: Fuel Problem? Car won't start unless i have my foot on accelerator

I turn my key and the car tries to fire but won't start, when i hold my foot down the car runs but dies unless i keep the revs around 2000. Even when revving it up to 2000 it suffers and can hear possible backfiring.
When i put my foot down to drive after it finally idles it feels like the car is about to stall but then goes.
Only does this until it's warm then is fine.
Is this a fuel problem, haven't had fuel pump, filter changed since i bought it 2 years ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like it could be the CAS or the idle valves.

could also be the AFM i had a similar problem got a new one for $30 problem solved for me.

Agree with above. It might be jammed shut so you won't be getting any extra air when you start it cold. There's a article in Tech Info on how to check it.

Had a coolant leak from the top inlet, must have knocked something, when a mate and I played with all the connections it was all good.
